28 3
Yesterday was my 28th birthday. Is this freakkin mean i have to start using one of those overpriced eye cream already? Blah. It’s weird, i didn’t feel any different from yesterday when i was still 27, but stil, i had to do the reality check. So for the first time in my life, i stared at my reflection in the mirror, long and hard, trying to find any sign of wrinkles.
I found none (i think), but that’s debatable since my eyes ’s not so good.
Had many birthday wishes coming from so many channels (email, sms, phone, twitter, but mostly from facebook) it’s confusing, so i just ignore most of them. Anyway, what is it to celebrate when people gets older i wonder? one year closer to be eldery & old?
A teenager cousin of mine says “28? wow that’s like old. Shouldn’t you be married and have babies already?”. “Oh but i don’t feel old, if anything, i feel better now than i was younger”; i replied, trying to defend the honor of being 28. “Yeah, that’s because you are 28″ he said.
Whoever have anything good to say about being old must be well..old. Birthday is definitely overrated.
So what did i do on my birthday? I skip work and J took me to half day trip to bandung.

Bandung, with it’s endless culinary choices, shops, the people, the weather, has never fail to cheer me up.

We had batagor kingsley (i like the one with soup), ice cream and finished off the day dining at our favorite place in bandung; the valley! The zuppa zoup was superb!
I had the best day ever thanks to J who has been nothing but sweet (for the occasion) muahhhh!
PS. i’m getting the eye cream.
