Second Earthquake 6
Today in Jakarta city we experienced a pretty big earthquake. I was working from home on my 26th floor apartment when the quake started in slow shake. Just when i decided to ignore it, the quake get bigger that almost make me trip couple of times on my way to the door. I remember hearing the furniture moving and the slow crack i heard somewhere was what really spook me up.
The only thing i remember to grab (beside my mobile) on my way out is of course my beloved macbook. I don’t have backup data thank you very much. It makes me wonder what other people will save on the similar circumstances ? Because i have this bag prepared, that contain all the important documents (passport, birth certificate, etc) for a situation like this, but when it did happen, i totally forget about the bag!
This is such a deja vu from similar quake we had last year, and apparantly, running down the stairs from 26th floor while the ground shaking STILL SUCKS!!
The first thing that pop in my mind as i run down those stairs was Dang! gotta move to a house ON THE GROUND soon! And the second thought i was considering if i can run down the stairs and tweet at the same time without falling and broke my neck.
I tweet.
When i finally get to the lobby, it already packed with other tenants. Now, that was really a rare moment where i got to see all of my neighbors at once.

After what seems like a super dizzy day (i swear my head was dizzy for hours!) a girl gotta do whatever that get her back on track rite? And i couldn’t think of anything better than SUSHI!!!! salmon & ebi mentai to be exact.

Life is not forever, and while i walk into the light (or darkness, you never know), it better not with empty stomatch.
The Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysics Office reported an earthquake measuring approximately 7.4 on the Richter scale at 14.55 (0855 BST) on 2 September 2009. The epicentre was in the Indonesian Sea, south of the island of Java, and 140 kilometres south-west of Tasikmalaya.

Yeah, that earthquake was totally creepy. I was in my room in Jogjakarta, and I totally freaked out when I found out that my friends in Jakarta and Bandung felt the quake too! Thank goodness everyone is ok
